What the structure does
- Both outer seams open from waistband to hem.
- Lays completely flat as two open panels.
- Flat cotton tapes at waist, hip and knee.
- Back rise raised, front rise shortened.

Seated measurements — trousers and skirts
These are seated measurements. They are not the same as a standing size chart, so please measure rather than assume. If you are between two sizes, tell us and we will say which one we would send.
- Seated waist
- Sitting down, measure right round the body where the waistband will actually sit. This is usually larger than a standing waist.
- Seated hip
- Sitting down, measure round the widest part of the hips and the seat, keeping the tape level.
- Seated inseam
- Sitting with the knee bent, measure from the crease at the top of the inner thigh down to the ankle bone.
