What the structure does

  • Neck opening measures 62 cm relaxed.
  • No fasteners anywhere on the garment.
  • Skirt is cut so it does not pull across the lap when seated.
  • Back is cut longer than the front.

Where it stops working

  • A dress has more fabric to draw down than a top. That is the harder part of this one.
  • A wide neckline sits wide on the shoulder.

These are seated measurements. They are not the same as a standing size chart, so please measure rather than assume. If you are between two sizes, tell us and we will say which one we would send.

Seated chest
Sitting upright, measure right round the fullest part of the chest, keeping the tape level under the arms.
Seated back length
Sitting upright, measure down the spine from the bone at the base of the neck to the seat of the chair.
Front length
Sitting down, measure from the shoulder straight down the front to where you want the hem to fall over the knee.
